Classico… e moderno…

Such lovely architecture! Loving all the small details you have captured. And the Spanish Stairs are off course stunning – a piece of art.

Good Morning Anna.
You wrote this shocking news: “Si vocifera che dal 9 luglio , forse , una nuova legge proibirà di pubblicare in rete fotografie di edifici pubblici, per questioni di copyright “.
Let us think millions and millions tourists who visit Rome. From who, they could get permission? In advance or later? Is the permission free of charge? What about selfies? Who shall control? Which kind of organization? Must I remove my photo from “About me” page-presenting Colosseum? One thing would be sure: the employment would raise highly, because the control needs huge amount of controllers. 🙂
So questions and questions in my mind?
I loved Your photos. Many years ago, I spent three days in Roma with my son and grandson walking from the morning to the evening visiting everywhere. So Your post raised warm memories to my mind. Thank You.

Hi, Matti!
Your thoughts , about this , are like mine of course!
The decision is due tomorrow , as it seems , and I’m astonished at this new nonsense…..
What I read is , that in case , the law wouldn’t have retroactive effects…..
If it were the 31st of March…. I would think of April’s Fool …..!
Thanks for your comment and appreciation , I’m glad to have raised your memories!

I recommend a visit , in late September or early October…..
Rome is at its best , then , more than in spring when the weather changes continually…..
Thanks so much for your comment!

Belle!

Yes, you are right we’d better hurry. I do hope that they don’t pass that silly law. But then again, I suppose there won’t be so many crowds for picture taking in front of famous monuments, no Instagram, no similar $it.
